My polar bear.

This is the polar bear that my friend and I made out of textures from google.  I really enjoyed making it. What I most found challenging was getting the shape of it correct I enjoyed working with a partner instead of by myself I enjoyed collaborating with the other class because then I can work with different people. I like making things out of textures because I can make a lot of things out of textures and heaps of different animals.

Workshop

This is a post on a reading workshop that I have done and we had to read the text and highlight the main words then answer the questions on the other side about how to make strawberry bars. I found this workshop easy and now I understand what it was supposed to mean.

Sustainabilaty

Today for Inquiry we were learning about the worm farm and the prosses of how it works. we went for a trip to the Environment Center and they were teaching us about what worms like to eat and what they dislike they do not like citrus or onion. I enjoyed learning about it and I thought it was really fun. First, you put dit and soil then you put scraps in, next you have to put newspaper to keep the worms warm. Once you have done that you water it to keep moist, then you collect the worm pee then you can sell it for peoples gardens.

This is Expanding sentences for our writing so we can add more detail for the reader there is 4  steps to this sheet and helps write so much better  with a whole lot more detail .

The Human Brain

This is my Grid I got 99 out of 100 and I started off at 55. Now I can almost do my whole grid in 10 minutes. We have ten minutes each thursday to see if we can improve on our last one. The ones I found most challenging were my twelve time tables but I really enjoy doing grids now that I know most of my Time Tables.☺☺

Seeking help

Today we learnt about seeking help while we work on our computers. We now know that we can take a screenshot if we come across something that isn't good online.

We worked collaboratively with a buddy and had to send an email to our teacher when we were asked to 'Get Help'.

We also learnt about using 'Polyline'

 this is a piece of writing of the school triathlon. the thing I mostly found challenging was the long run.

Protecting our kaimoana

This reading sheet was about  kaimoana and how we are running out because people are taking to much or are bringing home under size crayfish or other young sea creatures. Fortunately there are plenty of people that will give one of the fisheries officers or me a call if they see something suspicious going on.Keep on protecting our kaimoana!

In this decimal sheet we had to add two digit decimals.The 47.5+61.8 i found challenging.The  3.4+6.7 was easy.

Birthday graph

when we received this sheet we had to go around the class asking people when their birthday is and had to highlight the month people were in.The final result had August and July with the most in people.

$100 dollar word challange

In this one hundred word challenge we had to look through  the alphabet and each letter was a dollar more and my name came to $33 dollars.I found the adding at the end a little bit challenging.I enjoyed finding out how much money my name costs.
